Since mindfulness is a practice-based approach rather than a theory, it has always been very difficult for me to explain this concept. It's like telling you what chocolate is without using any of the five senses.

Therefore, it seems more appropriate to me to explain this concept to you slowly and digestively.

Our mind travels during the day either in the past or in future. This is the case most of the time when we think we are in the moment.

The only moment we can change or reach is right now. Mindfulness is a nice tool to learn to give space to our mind.

Of course, it is not possible to live aware of every moment, but returning to the present moment as much as possible during the day, taking a breath of our anxious thoughts, allows us to get closer to our feelings and thoughts.

Making room for mindfulness in our daily lives teaches us to turn the countless thoughts from the past and future that we carry on our backs into the root of the tree of life. those anxieties and stressful thoughts are rooted and develop us.

Instead of suppressing and multiplying feelings and thoughts, bringing them to the surface with mindfulness exercises and recognizing them, even if they are unpleasant, also helps us to root ourselves more firmly.
